I live just inside the Beltway, up in Maryland, and am very skeptical of these numbers as well. We usually have some warning when something big is going on downtown because plans are made in advance for street closings, Metro schedule changes, etc. Hotels are booked full, that sort of thing. I wasn't aware of this until Thursday, and I read the ComPost & the Washington Times daily.
Also, I heard Gary Nuremberg (reporting for CNN) say flat out late this morning that there were more people here Monday for the Right to Life March. He'll probably be fired, but I think the truth slipped out nonetheless.
And frankly, I love our soldiers, and don't want to see another single person die over there, American or Iraqi, but these traitors scare me a lot more than us standing up for freedom over there. Disgusting. They are clueless to the realities of the world. Clueless.
Where's comparing soldiers to Nazi's, and all those good posters?

From the photos thus far it would be pretty hard for them to deny this.
But I'm sure most will simply ignore it.
