Washington, D.C. MAPS-..and Poster ideas?

Hello Folks!

I thought that I'd post up some rough maps I have form my visits- that were good whhen i came to outlining the Tourist/Main Buildings stops in D.C> for those going to the gathering of eagles- so you can just get a rough idea of where things are- and to hopefully help orientate yoursleves.

Later I will ADD more THREAD of Better MAPS - and etc..- Just wanted to put this up for some folks requesting this!

As a PS- I also hoped that anyone else too who already have MADE their own "posters" for the March--but have "extra ideas" for MORE- may want to post the ones they couldn't finish/do so that maybe OTHERS who NEED Poster ideas CAN get some from the shared great resources of the Freepers!

So far ALL of you have given me some GREAT Ideas for my banners--and please keep them coming too! I seriously appreciate ALL your help!

If you arrive in DC on Friday, check your preferred parking zones to see if they have the "emergency no parking on Saturday" festooning the poles and meters. And check the Saturday newspapers for any street closures.

PRESS VANS TAKING UP SPACES DOWN THERE TOO!

A friend of mine who owns a gas station up here was going to volunteer his TOW TRUCK SERVICES for us Down There :
To go around and TOW OUT any LIBBIE CARS that he would see parking anywhere down there!----

-I told him --if HE DID that--he'd be there all day then-
JUST TOWING THE SEANTE & CONGRESS CARS DOWN THERE THEN!!

Since we'll be driving in, it looks like we'll have trouble finding somewhere to park our car for the FReep. I hope that's not the case. I'd hate to be caught in a virtual loop and have to drive around and around the FReep for 3 hours. :-)

Don't drive into town. Stop in Virginia at one of the Metro stations with parking and take the metro in to the Smithsonian station. .

Thank you. We are either staying about a block from, or across the street from the Metro according to our hotel. They need to get their distance straight. :-) Either way, that won't be a problem.
