I can’t stand McCain, but he is right here. (Of course, he’ll probably be yelling for some liberal cause within a week).

My main questions is.....Where the hell is Bush on this. As the President, he needs to be saying these things. By keeping his mouth shut, it makes him appear weak. Attack the back-stabbers in Congress and destroy their credibility.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Bush Sr. had the same silence on issues during his election battle with Bill Clinton. Every fallacious issue with which the Democrats excoriated Bush Sr. was met thunderously with the sound of crickets. It was then, as now, horribly frustrating.

Bushs silence is deafening and distrurbing. This has been the quietiest ineffectual White House I can remember.
