I have had my differences with McCain since he first ran for Congress. I don't like the guy but this is what a Senator does. This is what a great Senator does.

This is what he has said all along, it is nothing new. Any of the other Republican Senators could have and should have given this speech. They did not, they will not. After opposing him for 25 years I may just vote for the son of a birch.

Raised him greatly in my estimation, although I still would prefer to have almost any other GOP aspirant running. But it was enough to convince me that should he be the nominee I will not "sit this one out".
