Wow, you mean the Quisling socialist pacifists read a poll, got some feedback that this treasonous effort to undermine military and foreign policy might actually backfire. Not against American efforts but their own push for power. What horrid American citizens they are!
Someone on the Left probably said, “Nancy, we don’t need a million 5 second TV clips of you shaking hands with the men who’ve murdered our boys.” It may have been a similar statement that finally gave them self doubt...
