LOL. I memorized it at 18 and gave it during a school speech contest in 1961. I also rang doorbells and delivered campaign literature for JFK in his presidential run in 1960. JFK may not have done much as President, but the soaring eloquence of his speeches was an inspiration to all Americans and the rest of the world.

After the loss of JFK we had to wait until Ronald Reagan to find a president made of that kind of pride.

The Kennedy inaugural speech must be held in shame by most Democrats. I would bet that it is no longer in school textbooks.
