Trying to decide on whether to add a barf alert.
She is indeed a "woman of the people". God, what a pretentious sot.

Ms. Rodhams letters display an evolution in sophistication, viewpoint and intellectual focus. In nytimese that means she achieved the intellectual heights with "Power to the people! Bring it all down, man."

Way more conservative than her active pre-hubby, who at her age was most likely “not inhaling” and chasing “pretty polly” all the live long day. She was a model student compared to him.

Befitting college students of any era, the letters are also self-absorbed and revelatory, missives from an unformed and vulnerable striver Maybe, but there is no sign this particular college student has changed since the letters were written. She is still a cold, calculating, win at any cost ego maniac.

LOL!
This is some of the worst writing I've ever seen, and this from the smartest woman in the world?

Ms. Rodhams letters display an evolution in sophistication, viewpoint and intellectual focus. The New York Times is setting the meme for the dinosaur media to follow.
I'm absolutely shocked that they left out this little factoid....
...Senator Clinton speaks to wealthy taxpayers at San Francisco fund-raiser- June 29, 2004
"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Clinton said, according to the Associated Press. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you.
"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

After reading those excerpts I got a clear picture of how Hillary began her life. I don’t know how much “nurture” was added to her born personality “nature,” but perhaps her parents left her alone and coddled her too much and this only added to her self-grandiosity.
She believed as a child that she might be the only person in the universe. She fantasized that a million cameras were focused on her from the heavens. She was wondering whether it was OK to care for perhaps a couple of people and yet still be the desired misanthrope.
Oh yes, this is the right person to lead this country.

Ah, another hard-hitting New York Times no-holds-barred...love letter to HRC.
If only they'd apply the same interest to ALL candidates of ALL parties that they give to revealing our military secrets, eh?

Think FR should have an auto-script- something like: If Source="New York Times" and substr (Body,1,7) = "Hillary" then Do; Add ="
Barf Alert!"; End.
Have to talk to JimR....

A recent Rasmussen poll says that 46% of the electorate will never vote for Hillary.
It is my belief that the other mindless 54% will lap this nauseating type of stuff up. And the DBM will incessant with this type of stuff all the way to November of ‘08.

Wow, that was a trip man. Self-indulgent drivel from top to bottom. Lots of big words with little meaning. And the Times declares that these letters evidence increasing sophistication? More like increasingly sophomoric.
To: Raebie
The problem is that she sees herself at the center of attention, the font of all knowledge and wisdom. She feels destined to prove her worth by running our lives. She’s the anti-Fred who says - let the local governments take back their power because they’re closer to the people. Hillary would never want that because she doesn’t think anyone - espcially us plebes - is as good as she is. She, who as a little girl thought all the worlds cameras were on her. I suppose I felt that way once or twice but then I grew up.
I really despise her - she is like history’s worst sort of people who have sized power by whatever means. That so many can’t see through her is frightening.
