"TBILISI, Aug 9 (Reuters) - Russian fighter jets targeted the the major Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline which carries oil to the West from Asia but missed, Georgia's Economic Development Minister Ekaterina Sharashidze said on Saturday."

Don't know if this is propaganda or fact. It's from Reuters

I read that there has been no interruption in the pipeline since that attack.

This is the highest form of stupidity. The Georgians and Reuters are doing the Russian's battle damage assessment for them. The right move would be to shut off the pipeline temporarily and pretend to work frantically on "repairing" it.

One of the things the pubic is completely in the dark on is that judging the effectiveness of a military attack is very difficult.

If they had just chosen the hardest to damage part of the pipeline the Russians had attacked, sent in a fake repair crew, and then turned it back on a day later, the Russians would be duped into repeating the ineffective attack.
