A young filmmaker risks everything, including his life to tell his brothers' story. Often humorous, sometimes lethal, this embedding with four combat units in Iraq, gives him insight into his two soldier brothers, his family, and ultimately into his own character.

ping.
There was an article in the washington times today that talked about the film and that anything tied to being pro-Iraq isn’t touched.
You'd think they'd try marketing something that the movie goers actually want to see.
Thanks for sharing this link to this, it looks like a real touching and moving movie....
What a wonderful brother and Thank you for your service to the other brother’s that are involved with this film too...
I would luv to have this movie in my collection....
Hollyweirds have an aversion to showing the American will, American strength (in good times and bad) and the American efforts to not only win our war on terror; but to win against those who wish to harm us here and abroad.
Can you post the link to the Washington Times article so I don’t have to go hunting for it?
I’d appreciate it.

“Brothers At War Screened In Sonora”

Sonora, CA — B
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Unlike a Hollywood backlot where the director is in charge, the movement of the military is the ruling force in attempting to shoot a documentary in a war zone. Such was the case when the unit in which Rademacher was embedded was ambushed by insurgents.
Beloved Pictures President Caleb Applegate commented after viewing Brothers At War for the second time, “I’m speechless. This presentation is such a great tribute to the men and women of our military who are making such a positive difference in Iraq.”
The private screening was held in order to invite potential investors to consider becoming a part of Beloved Pictures efforts to raise prints and advertising capital for Brothers At War.
Beloved Pictures and Rademacher are hopeful of a national release in October.”
Get this info to Rush. If he likes it he sure has the wherewithal to back it. Maybe Somehow to Rupert Murdoch, Bruce Willis, John Voight?

Gary Sinese and Voight are already on-board and can’t seem to land a good deal for this film. They hosted a screening of it in the spring.
Good that they’re working on it. I really hope it comes together. Wish I had some contacts.
That seven minute preview had me wanting to see this movie. I was haunted by the picture of the three brothers when I opened up the site, and loved the music too.
I have the picture on my PC as a screensaver, to remind me to keep checking to see if it will get released.
I will keep a look out as well...no reason why this film shouldn’t have a backer already. It doesn’t have to be straight to DVD either. There are plenty of people who would be interested in seeing this in a theater even if for a limited 2-3 week run. It would probably outgross the anti-war flops that have come down the pike recently that were fictional.
