If anyone else called him little jerk, Sen. Lindsey Graham might be offended.
But the jab comes from Sen. John McCain, so he wears it like a badge of honor.
If Johns not belittling you, youre in trouble, Graham said. He calls me lots of other names, too, but theyre not appropriate for the newspaper.
McCain and Graham arent just friends. Theyre inseparable, so much so that colleagues, staffers and journalists have begun making cracks about the relationship between the freshman senator from South Carolina and the man who would be president.
Some call Graham a lapdog. Others say he acts as though hes one of McCains legislative aides. One Senate aide, who called Graham and Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.) Pips to McCains Gladys Knight, said that Graham fawns over McCain like theres no tomorrow. In the run-up to this weeks hearings for Army Gen. David Petraeus and Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker, The Washington Posts Tom Ricks said Graham sometimes seems like McCains Mini-Me.
I think its almost a father-son relationship, said Sen. Mel Martinez (R-Fla.), a friend of both senators and another member of their Senate clique. I think Lindsey looks to [McCain] and relies on him. But I think John draws on Lindseys energy and relies on him for a laugh.
McCain spokeswoman Melissa Shuffield said the two senators have the kind of friendship that will outlast their political careers.

Yes, I know it's an old article, but it's good background into the relationship between Lindsey Graham and his "mentor" John McCain.

The question we have here in Georgia is how our neighbors in South Carolina could have elected such a dud to the US Senate????????

"Some call Graham a lapdog."
Others call him light in the loafers. Others think he is just a RINO. Others think he is just out'a his mind.

Dude attack the damn democrats! You never do. All you do is post threads attacking republicans, except Ron Paul. IMO you are the enemy within. Paulistinians, attack Jindal, Palin and give Obama a free ride.

I assume Grahamnesty kowtows to McCain because that’s the only way anyone can have any sort of social relationship with the guy.

Don't worry; as soon as I'm done with a mid-term tonight, I think I will put together one hell of a vanity bashing the King of Zeros.

Wouldn’t it be nice if both Sen McCain and Sen. Lindsey Graham would just go off somewhere together and never come back? I think it would be.

It has always been my thought that it was John McCain called Lindsay during the impeachment hearings, when Lindasy was in the House of Rep sitting on the Judiciary committee, He voted all of the ohter three admendments but did not vote on the one where Clinton lied under oath. Even BArney Franks was seen on camera talking to Maria Shriver, saying that one was the one admendment that would surely impeach Clinton. He said that he was surprised that Lindays was not in the room when that vote was cast. Remember McCain never though that Clinton should be impeachment. I have never trusted either one of these monkies.
