There is evidence that officials at high levels in Syria, Germany and even inside the Central Intelligence Agency had information about the 9/11 terror hijackers' hatred for Americans and their desire to attack the U.S. before the mass murders were carried out, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.
Evidence suggests that authorities may not have known the specific plans to hijack passenger jets and turn them into flying torpedoes but they knew something was developing.
And some of the information, heretofore not even provided to the 9/11 commission, known as the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, could become available to defense attorneys for the civilian court trials Attorney General Eric Holder has planned for the confessed terrorists in New York, just blocks from where nearly 3,000 people were killed.

Of course they did. This isn’t news. There were reports on my radio as early as April 2001 that said the FBI was concerned about a spectacular terrorist attack that was supposed to be carried out at some point in the near future. That it was something of a magnitude that had never been acheived before.
This was no secret, although you still find idiots saying Bush was covering things up, etc.
Gee . Somebody knew something , just maybe nothing about anything that happened . I wonder if anybody knows anything today about something that may or may not happen .

This is old history.
The difficulty with intelligence is that you can know something is about to happen, but you don’t know exactly where or when.
When I worked for NAVSECGRU we knew there was likely to be another terrorist hijacking as comms traffic was up. Jet liners were being regularly hijacked during the late 70s and early 80s. But no one expected the Achille Lauro, a crusie ship, to be hijacked.
So does that make us complicit? Hell no.
It wasn’t news to anyone following stories about the Middle East and Bin Laden. Even the Los Angeles Times had a story as far back as 1998 about Ladin’s hatred for the U.S. and the possibility of him launching a terrorist attach.
My first thought on hearing about the World Trade Center, minutes after the attack, the morning of 9/11/01, was “Bin Laden!”

Not knocking Joe Farah/WND...but this is NOT NEWS to anyone that
had a pulse before, during and after 9-11.
Even The Public Broadcasting System (PBS) had one documentary
entitled “The Man Who Knew” about FBI agent John O’Neil (sp?) that
banged a drum about the threat from Osama bin Laden and Al-Queda
for years. Only to be ignored, retire, take a security job at The
World Trade Center.
And perish on 9-11 (talk about cosmic irony).
And anyone that watched the History Channel documentary about Rick Rescorla,
the security officer (for Morgan Stanley?) who was the last man out
of one of the WTC towers after the 1993 attack...and spent years
strategizing with his Vietnam War brother-in-arms Dan Hill about how
the Islamics would make their next attack on the WTC.
Rescorla (with advice from Dan Hill and other trusted associates)
banged a drum for YEARS about WTC security and were, to a large
degree, tolerated due his reputation.
Of course, Rescorla perished on 9-11.
(And, IIRC, Rescorla was the rugged soldiers on the book cover of
“We Were Soldiers Once, And Young”).
Of course, we’re now entering the “Show Trials” phase of The War on Terror.
Obama, Holder and Co. are trying to build a legal basis on which to
turn over George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and plenty of other people
that kept us safe to the International Criminal Court.
Or at most, to convict them in the court of public opinion.
After seeing wussy Grahamesty embarass Holder...I do have some hope
at the end of the day, Holder, Obama and Co. will be all possessed
of stunned looks when this all back-fires on them.
You’d think Holder, Obama and Co. would have thought for a second:
“If we have REAL ‘discovery’ in a public court, the US public will
be demanding the heads of a bunch of appeasers in our administration.
And that of Bill Clinton!”.
I’ll add my voice. Interesting, good to repeat this for those who don’t remember, but there were press reports ahead of 911 about “chatter” that something big was brewing. Then again a couple of weeks before, the “chatter” was reported again in the press. In other words, yes, we knew Bin Ladin or Saddam or both were planning something big, but couldn’t put specifics to it.

Yes there were numerous reports of increased “chatter” in the newspapers in June and July of 2001, I remember reading it in the Chicago Tribune. With the Cole attack still fresh in everyone’s mind, the US at one point that summer ordered all warships in the Persian Gulf area out of port. There was some speculation that an attack might be made on the US mainland, but I don’t think anyone had more specifics than that.
Had they had the name of Muhammed Atta to work with, they might have ventured a guess, as he was a structural engineer, who as he became more religious, grew to hate the idea of skyscrapers (even though they were part of his study) because they are taller than minarets. .

Didn't Bill Clinton say something very similar? He should have known since he was the one who made sure that Bin Laden was never taken into custody, and the one who through his inaction and his bimbo focus made sure that terrorists felt safe in attacking this country.
