Al Qaeda Calling Janet N: The System Does Work!

LAGOS: Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab used the internet to overcome loneliness and find "a true Muslim friend".

The Nigerian used Facebook and Muslim websites to express doubts about the right age to marry, success in his studies and his struggles as a Muslim surrounded by Western influences.

"I have no one to speak too (sic)," said one posting from January 2005, when Abdulmutallab was at boarding school. "No one to consult, no one to support me and I feel depressed and lonely. I do not know what to do. And then I think this loneliness leads me to other problems."

The Washington Post yesterday published 300 postings by "Farouk1986" between 2005 and 2007.

Abdulmutallab graduated from University College London last year before heading to Dubai and cutting ties with his family. A University of Wollongong campus in Dubai said Abdulmutallab had attended the school from January to the middle of this year. From August until early December, Abdulmutallab was in Yemen, where he had received a visa to study Arabic at a school in the capital, Sana'a, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry said.

Here's how the system works Janet:

First, you get jihadists to cruise the internet, via, Facebook, jihadist websites, muslim websites, muslim dating sites, looking for lonely, young muslim males, like Mutallab who have the wealth to travel and study in the US and Britain.

Then you engage those males in all sorts of muslim identity conversations, trotting out all the muslim heroes, particularly those heroes that opposed the West and the "crusaders", offering them false masculinity that Islamic dating does not.

Then you steer them to local mosque-jihadist screeners that vet them for loyalty to Islam.

Then, before they get on any Watch Lists, get them off the internet and have them get an American Visa and have them make test runs to the US to make sure they are not on a "No Fly" list.

Use America's Homeland Security to finish vetting the future bomber.

Next, get the prospect into an AQ country for training. Pakistan is too closely watched, Dubai is OK for generalized Islamic schooling, but not openly jihadist.

Yemen is perfect, but the Yemeni government is careful granting visas. However, if you have a valid US Visa, no problem, Yemeni entry is automatic.

However, Mutallab had to surrender his Nigerian passport to make sure he didn't leave Yemen until his schooling was over.

No problem, though, because the all-powerful State Department, Napolitano-authorized-US-Visa was all Mutallab needed to travel through five airports without a passport.....carrying a bomb.

Janet....at least Al Qaeda agrees with you.....the system works perfectly.....

Now, the great hunt begins:

which/how many Al Qaeda bombers have we given US Visas to? Where are they now, using what alias?

We have learned nothing since Saudi travel agents gave visas to many of the 9/11 attackers.

Napolitano was right in her statement that the system worked as designed! If you remember back to its’ origin, Congress decided that the most important item in improving airport security after 2001, was to convert all of the worthless, democrat voting, airport security employees that allowed 911 to happen, into democrat voting Federal employees with union contracts.
TSA was never about catch terrorists and the actions it has taken to date are nothing but harrassment of law abiding citizens.
TSA HAS WORKED JUST LIKE THE LIBERALS IN CONGRESS WANTED! GW SHOULD HAVE NEVER WENT ALONG WITH IT.

But we need to trust the government. They care about us, they love us, they want to protect us. Only the government can save us!

My recommendation on 9/12 was, and is today, to arm the passengers. The foiled hijackers/terrorists of the last 8+ years were beaten down by the passengers.

But that’s a whole lot cheaper than creating a superbureaucracy out of a a bunch of failure bureaucracies. How would the preening, narcissistic pieces of excrement that fill congress take credit if we were to empower people to take care of themselves.

People might even begin to think they don’t need government officiating every aspect of their lives!

Thanks for the ping!

B-HO assesses this act as an isolated criminal act.

I now understand that Al Qaeda came out and took credit for Junior.

AQ needs to learn what Napoleon taught “when your enemy is making mistakes, don’t get his way” - but I’m thankful they are dumber than he....so far.
