This one actually IS Bush’s fault.

That certainly is a fair argument. So much of what Bush did was, well, timid. Attempts at border control, the Afghan rules of engagement, this CIA thing, etc.

The country will pay dearly for all of this.

I was a Bush supporter. I’m not proud of it. I regret it. but I would not deny it. Ultimately, the Bush immediately following 9/11 and the Bush a mere few months later may as well have been two different people. Hindsight is 20-20 of course but that hindsight is revealing.
