CHRISTMAS 2015 - DC Chapter
The DC Chapter held its Annual Christmas Party this year at GunsAreOK's Party Room in Northern Virginia. There were 17 of us in attendance and as you might guess the big topic was politics. Second biggest topic was reminiscencing about old FReeps. Boy, you can tell every one is getting old. And since we held it on Sunday this year, football ran a third. But the food, 22 lb. Turkey, ham, pumpkin pie, sage sausage stuffing, apple pie, kugal, modeled salad, all berry pie, rolls, pecan pie, mashed red potatoes, and much more, was always there.
Speaking of old - the Olney FReep is 10 years old the first Saturday in January. To help the DC Chapter raise funds, we sold cups (courtesy of Lurker Bill) with the Olney collage on it. The collage was put together by IMacman some years ago and is similar to the WR collage.
We are still out on our corner. One pesky moonbat still makes an appearance. The 'Quackers' are no longer there. The one moonbat there is/was a part of Raging Grannys, the group the vandalized recruiter stations. She leaves that now to Obambi to screw our military.

Hey Troop! It’s been a long long time since I’ve touched base with you. You’re still looking good in your Santa hat. I actually didn’t even realize that the Olney gathering was still going. Nice to know that you outlasted the weird people across the street, and that the snippy liberal still get a dose of truth every week. God bless all of you and a very Merry Christmas.
I’ve been mostly absent from FR for a long time, due to more time needed to care for my husband since his two heart attacks. He’s doing okay for now, but he’s slowed down a lot. So have I, but I’m still preaching. I’m seeing a lot of old FRiends on this post. So glad to see you are still kicking, Joy. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Mr. Exit 148 is still getting used to a leg prosthesis for a below knee amputation. He has small other problems, but each day shows progress. However we don’t do any travelling.
Good to hear the Olney FReep is still going on. I had only been part of 2 or 3 of them, But DH was with me at one of them and it was the FIRST and ONLY time he ever held a protest sign!! still remember my amazement when he proudly picked it up and stood there FReeping with us!!!

YES, He signed my hat then saw the shirt and did that too. I am having a great time wearing it and meeting all the people who want to “talk” about him...only one has been unpleasant. All question what he would be like and who is his VP? Most want Cruz to clean up the Justice Department.
I would love to she him sitting over the Senate after the way he was treated there!
