I’m not rooting for either side; I just want it to end without us having to shed American Blood and spend more Treasure.
Given the situation in Washington, and their desire to maintain government spending you can either see money go to various left wing social programs, or go to the employees of defense contractors.
Personally, while I would like to see less spending overall that isn't going to happen in the near future and I'd rather see my tax dollars spent paying the salary of somebody working at Lockheed Martin than funding some woke Democrat sponsored project.
