The probable cause affidavit in the University of Idaho killings case was released on Thursday, showing exactly what led to the arrest of suspect Bryan Kohberger.
On December 30, Kohberger was arrested by law enforcement officials in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. Kohberger, a 28-year-old Ph.D. student in the criminology department at Washington State University, was arrested on charges including four counts of murder in the first degree as well as one count of felony burglary.
His arrest came more than a month after four University of Idaho students were found dead in their off-campus residence. Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Ethan Chapin, 20, and Xana Kernodle, 20, were determined to have been stabbed multiple times on November 13.

Does this explain how the murders were committed? I don’t see any article that discusses even a murder weapon. I assumed it involved a knife maybe I just missed it in articles.
What is the motive?

Wait a minute. A surviving roommate sees a man in black with a mask in her house and afterwards goes back to bed until several hours later? The deaths happened a little after 4:00 AM and 911 wasn’t called until just before noon. Very strange.
Get a rope.
One of the surviving roommates told authorities she saw a man in black clothes and a mask walking past her in the house on the night of the killings, and she stood "frozen" and in "shock," . . . . she didn't recognize the man, who walked toward the back sliding glass door . . . She locked herself in her room after seeing the man, . . . She described the intruder as 5-foot-10 or taller, and "not very muscular, but athletically built with bushy eyebrows," . . .
. . . she woke up around 4 a.m. from what sounded like Goncalves playing with her dog in one of the third floor bedrooms, . . . "A short time" after, the roommate said "she heard who she thought was Goncalves say something to the effect of 'there's someone here,'" . . . But that could have been Kernodle on her phone because records showed she was on TikTok at about 4:12 a.m., . . .
The roommate said "she looked out of her bedroom but did not see anything when she heard the comment about someone being in the house," . . . "She opened her door a second time when she heard what she thought was crying coming from Kernodle's room."
The roommate "then said she heard a male voice say something to the effect of 'it's ok, I'm going to help you,'" . . . she opened her door again when she heard the crying, and that's when she saw the figure in the mask, . . .
A shoe print believed to be from the intruder was found outside one of the survivors' rooms, the documents said.
I'm trying to understand why she didn't call 911... Many people wear masks now. So many people were in and out of that house so often, that maybe she was caught by surprise but figured this man was someone else's guest.

investigators found a knife sheath, with “Ka-Bar” ‘USMC” and the United States Marine Corps eagle globe and anchor insignia stamped on the outside of it, in the bedroom of one of the victims. The DNA was compared to DNA found in the parents’ garbage, the father’s DNA.
My wild theory is that this creep read AMERICAN PSYCHO as a kid and got off on it. Would explain his fascination with criminology, too.
A knife sheath with BK's DNA was left on the bed of one of the murder victims.

Also, BK's cell phone ping was tracked to the general area near the murder residence, late at night or early AM, multiple times before the murders were committed. The night of the murder, BK turned off his phone, or was out of range, during the murder time line.
Also, BK apparently walked right by, and severely startled and frightened, one of the first floor residents, a female, who had opened her bedroom door because she heard voices and unusual sounds. He was dressed completely in black and wearing a Covid style mask. It is not clear why the survivor roommate did not call 911, unless she was just accustomed to strangers and party people hanging out at all hours.
Bottom Line - unless BK is on videotape studying at the WSU Library during the murder time line, this case is already over.
Guilty as charged.
One article says his sister starred in a horror slasher movie.
He would’ve been about 17 at the time.
