Sorry but this is just an animal slaughter for meal prep. I cut the throats of chickens, rabbits, sheep, fish, and other tasty critters. Granted we shoot the cattle first but sometimes the shooter misses and you have to run in and slit its throat. If you wanna eat meat, you gotta kill it.
Before guns, we all did it this way. Pit Bulls were originally bred to wear down the cattle so a human could get close and slice it’s throat. True Halal says that the animal should be calm, not full of adrenaline. I don’t see a problem with it. Now the rest of the religion is another story.
