Back in Stalin’s time much of my wife’s extended Ukrainian family was sent to Solovoki Island near the Artic Circle in the White Sea. History is repeating itself as the Russians are still moving populations around. The are shipping laborers from the Russian far east to the Donbas and Ukrainian students are being sent into Russia for sequestered brainwashing.
Russia is a gulag nation.
Putin is a Stalin wannabe. If his army conquers Ukraine... Poland, the Baltics, Eastern Europe, and WW III are next. His talking heads on Russian state approved TV have said as much.
Millions of Ukrainians will be murdered once “Peace is given a chance”. Like in Cambodia in 1975 in the Killing Fields when the communist won the war there.
