U.S. special climate envoy John Kerry concluded his flying three-day trip to Beijing on Wednesday with his reported admission no agreement with China, the world’s single largest producer of greenhouse gases, has been reached on further actions to slash carbon pollution.
Politico reports Kerry disclosed “it’s going to take a little bit more work to break new ground” in negotiations between the world’s two biggest greenhouse gas polluters, with more talks about further talks ahead.

After watching Kerry’s performance on negotiations with Iran during the Obama administration, China should play hardball with him. It is not the trip that is a failure. It is Kerry.
Moron. No one can negotiate with China. They can only negotiate with Xi. Xi is now absolute dictator. Nothing happens without his approval. China’s collapse is imminent due to its overwhelmingly aged population and Xi’s totalitarian rule. The big worry is will Xi start a war?
