“epicaricacy. dictionary.com says the word does not exist.”


Maybe I misspelled it but I’m pretty sure that is the word for a pleasure in other’s misfortune. In this case I believe it is well-deserved.

I think the word works well in this instance. Although I’ve found that many words and terms have been redefined lately so maybe the definition can’t be readily found.

I would consider the old, “relishing in other people’s misery”. I know of an evil woman who was so bitter at life, that she wanted to see you fail. n/s
