And even worse I fear it is the future of terrorist acts on our domestic front. If a bad guy wants to inflict major causalities then it can be done with off the shelf stuff you can buy today.

So maybe somebody, somewhere, is working on an ‘off the shelf’ affordable anti-drone device...?
I have seen two instances of drones flying over my house/neighborhood thus far. In both instances, it was late at night, they had bright white lights on them... the kind a helicopter would have... but were completely silent and undetectable audibly. No motor or “droning” sound at all.
Some kind of spy drones, I suspect... being operated by government entities. Which is why I doubt that any such anti-drone devices will ever become available to ‘We, the People’.

Which is why U.S. law enforcement and the military need rules of engagement that authorize the immediate killing of anyone observed or otherwise confirmed to have engaged in life-threatening acts against American citizens anywhere in the world.
