At this point in time we are nearly as dependent on Israeli military technology as they are on us. They build their own planes, tanks, anti-aircraft missiles, and even ships. If we abandon Israel now they will just expand their military industrial base and pay for it by exporting stuff that is as good or better than we make.
Does Israel have any attack aircraft not built by the USA? It’s true that Israel makes some advanced modifications on them.
And it’s true that the US is increasingly dependent on Israeli high tech and intelligence. Not at all the relationship as when the US started supplying weapons to Israel after the ‘67 War.
