I know Mollie's on our side, but there's nothing quixotic and bogus about this effort. It's been a deliberate, calculated plan from the start to block Trump from the ballot via the Insurrection clause which is why the RATS had Ray Epps and his fellow instigators start the riot and get into the House so then every RAT and media scum could call what happened an insurrection which they continue to do to this very moment.
With that in place and no official charge against Trump ever made except by the non-binding clymers of the J6 committee (as I just realize why there haven't been formal charges made), RAT operatives around the country like in Colorado and Maine can claim he's disqualified because of insurrection and move to keep him off the ballot. Had he been formally charged and it failed as it likely would, none of these operatives could use insurrection as a reason to keep him off the ballot. Instead, they can claim it was insurrection in the absence of any official determination.
Obviously, they're hoping to taint him with the voters, but less obvious is that they're hoping for another John Roberts save in the Supreme Court like he did with Obamacare. To wit: No, you cannot keep Trump off the ballot for insurrection, but you can keep him off the ballot for other reasons of your own discretion.
