You don't honestly expect Mitch to say something, do you?

The Swamp is an organized crime outfit and Mitch is one of the most senior members.

The Swamp keeps its hold on its members by blackmail (and the threat of death). If Mitch spoke out of turn about anything related to the Swamp, his career would be over immediately and it is quite possible that his life and the lives of his family would come to an abrupt end.

What should happen, but won't, is that every single public official, and all in public office, should be financially investigated and required to document how they obtained every single penny and every single possession they have obtained since starting in government.

Those for whom things don't add up should be prosecuted, stripped of everything they can't account for, and jailed if found guilty. Only then will we have our Consitutional Republic back. Only then will those who seek office or government employment be appropriately afraid to screw over the American citizenry.
