What is wrong with pods? They are much more efficient, I love them as I don’t have error or mess on pouring detergent for wash.

This is the stupidity of politicians. Maybe they are trying to be evil to inconvenience the public. But this is idiocy.

Detergent pods are made from polyvinyl alcohol.

Polyvinyl alcohol does not leave micro plastics as claimed; it is water soluble.

The alcohol groups are metabolized by bacteria, the acetate groups eventually hydrolyze to acetate and alcohol, both of which are metabolized by microorganisms.

PVA is very environmentally friendly and pods are much lighter to transport than are liquids plus there is no bottle made of PET, PP or PE which do create micro plastics.

That’s why my user name is packagingguy.
