I am continually surprised at the people in these threads suggesting the VP nominee be from the same state as the presumed presidential nominee. Do they think the lost Electoral College votes by both nominees being from the same state will be made up elsewhere? No, extremely unlikely, so the VP nominee won’t be from the same state.

American voters have learned to hold their nose’s and vote for who they get to choose from. I get a kick out of conservatives who refuse to vote for the candidate becuase of the running mate, or a couple of issues. Of course conservatives loose races exactly because of a single issue or a comment three months before the election. The Marxists unite and they don’t care if they are in a Big Tent with Pedifiles, Homosexuals, Racists, Student Marxists, Islamist’s, AntiSemites, etc., they vote for abortion and Satan. But the good folks on the right would argue with God and turn their back’s rather than vote for the best of the worst.

I never had any ill feelings towards DeSantis. I like him, but felt it wasn’t his time. Never said anything bad about him and won’t. I hope he and Trump can work together to hold Florida and America strong and firmly together against the real enemies to this country - Democrats.
