Perot should have one. The Bush Crime Family should be in prison.

calling it a roadmap to civility in our polarizing political climate.

Bush grew up in a United States which was ethnically, religiously, socially, politically homogenous. He was born under Calvin Coolidge and grew up in a USA which had not yet been infected by Neo-marxism or even progressivism, where civil society ruled, not the power of bloated government. He was also rich

He could afford to pretend to be genteel

The SNL skits about him vomiting in Japan were kinda funny. He took in good humor, iirc.

It’s very unfortunate that Ms. Becker confuses “character” and “politeness.” Poppy definitely had the latter, the former? Meh. Between NAFTA, China and the Iraq adventures, not sure any father-son duo in American history ever did as much damage to this country as the Shrubs.

Too bad for saying read my lips and perot

The former CIA director Bush had his “boy” Clinton take over and he was fine with it. Bush family did us no good whatsoever. It is too bad Reagan took him as VP!!

41 wasn't too bad. He knew when we had to kick @$$. Panama and Iraq (Desert Storm). We had learned from Vietnam. We didn't do any nation building.

His biggest mistake was "read my lips, no new taxes".

If he had another term, I think 41 would had handled Russia better. Maybe he would have found ways to give the Russians more support. That would have prevented the rise of Putin.

What if...

The Deep State wanting to remind frustrated Republicans of the Good Old Days when milquetoast back-stabbing stealth Deep State GOP’ers soft-pedaled our walk to one-world government.

“Come on guys, those Republicans were nice and didn’t send mean tweets! Don’t you want that brand of Republicanism back? We sure do!”

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

The entire Bush family are/were grifters. W with the Texas stadium scam, Neil with Silverado (I almost got into a fist fight with him once), HW and Babs were involved in all sorts of pump and dump stock scams and shaking down Houston businesses and even the school district.

None of them ever worked a day in their lives and the PR flak BS about how they would send nice notes to people about all sorts of stuff was totally contrived. In all of them Barbara Bush was the absolute worst. She was all about the money and in private was brutal in the way she traded influence for money. She was not a nice old grey-haired lady.

She is sharing stories from her new book, "Character Matters,"

"Read my lips... No new taxes!"

Breaking that pledge cost that moron the election. Character didn't matter because he didn't have any.

Couldn't call Clinton a liar because of his breaking that pledge. Lost the election when he agreed to a tax increase, and the Democrats never intended to keep their side of the bargain.

They only promised it to get that stupid jackass to break that promise. It was the only thing they wanted, and he gave it to them.
