(Screenshot: Channel 12) US Ambassador to Israel Jack Lew insisted Sunday evening that “fundamentally, nothing has changed in the basic relationship” between Israel and the US — despite the decision last week by US President Joe Biden’s administration to delay a shipment of high-payload bombs to Israel, and Biden’s declaration that he would not supply offensive weapons to Israel for a major IDF offensive affecting population centers in southern Gaza’s Rafah.
Noting that military aid from Washington to Jerusalem has increased since war erupted in Gaza after Hamas’s October 7 onslaught, Lew stressed in a Channel 12 interview that only “one set of munitions” had been held back, and that “everything else keeps flowing.”
Asked about Biden’s stated intention not to supply offensive weapons to Israel “if they go [into] these population centers,” Lew replied: “What the president said is that he doesn’t think it is a good idea to have a massive ground campaign in a heavily populated area. But he specifically said that 2,000-pound (900-kilogram) bombs shouldn’t be used in that setting.”

claiming to hold back munitions publicly garnered some muzzie love but, the reality is they aren't used often in that environment anyway.
The administration has to publicly preen and display their social justice bonafides, while continuing the flow of arms authorized by congress.

Hamas uses human shields including hostages (with a few American hostages) and then go into hospitals or largely populated areas like now. Then wait for their traitorous Biden Dem DC crowd to cut off aid to Israel so as not to allow IDF to battle terrorists in populated areas. Perfect plan.
There is no way to have a war without anyone but combatants killed or injured. It isn’t a set piece battle like some uniformed British soldiers in a line squaring off in an empty field against an enemy. As the British expected in fighting the Swamp Fox and others in 1776.
And where was all the caring when terrorists invaded Israel on the Sabbath and ruthlessly murdered and abducted Israeli noncombatants in their homes?
True, Biden shades the meanings and uses nuances from his handlers to give mixed signals. Wants cheers and pats on his scrawny back for supporting Israel in an “ironclad” way. Then preens for the Arab voters like the Tlaib district in Michigan by trashing Israel. Then back to bragging about being a pal of Israel for years.

I believe what Obiden Admin is doing is trying to force a Two State Solution on Israel. They must keep Israel dependent on the US because if Israel wipes out Hamas, they can concentrate on Hezbolla next, then Iran. The two state Solution is nothing but the Sykes Picot partition plan with some new lipstick on it. It would never work, but it was designed that way.
