Israel ought to declare the northern half of Gaza as theirs now. And vow to take over the southern half unless Hamas/Gazans/Palestinians or whatever they call themselves surrender now.

Then Israel ought to ship every "Palestinian" (not including Gaza) to Jordan, drop them off across the border, and shoot any that come back. Tell Jordan that the "Palestinians" were their problem all along (ever since Jordan was created for them). Of course, Jordan will say that the "Palestinians" rose up against Jordan the last time it was tried (just like they've persistently risen up against Israel). But make it back to being Jordan's problem, not another century of being Israel's problem.

My guess is that it will continue to stay messy (/Captain Obvious) - and there’s a not-too-distant future war with Iran, Turkey, Libya, et al.
