Hogan wins. Alsobrooks(D) beat Trone, even though he spent over $50,000,000 to win a Senate seat.
However, over 200.00 votes for GOP, and over 400,000 for Dims.
Oh, she's black and pretty, and Hogan is fat and white. Not that that's important....

No way Maryland Dems will vote for a black woman. Hogan will win.
I suspect half of registered Maryland DemocRATS are black so most DemocRATS will vote for her.
Hogan as gov was effective at rangling MD Dims in the Assembly, but Alsobrooks is black, and the present gov of MD is a popular, photogenic, clean, articulate black, so I think Hogan loses.
I hate this state.
I haven’t been represented here in forever. Harris is the only exception.
Maryland has a black Governor, a black Lieutenant Governor,
a black Attorney General, and a black Speaker of the House of Delegates.
Maryland Dems will vote for her.
Hogan will do and say anything for attention. If he goes to the senate he will be so disagreeable and he will never leave.He really wants to be president so this would be his John McCain move.
If Alsobrooks wins, it would be a way to tell Hogan bye. I just hope Alsobrooks, one of 97 black Alsobrooks (417 whites Alsobrooks and 7 biracial Alsobrooks, sorry a hobby of mine), might govern as a moderate.

Hogan is indeed a RINO, but a RINO’s 30% is better than any Democrat’s 0%. And he may decide not to run again and thereby free his legislative votes from the libs who have been supporting him.
Wasn’t Hogan just the Governor of Maryland? Wouldn’t it be hard to beat that machine?
There is no GOP machine in MD. His only hope is that a lot of the big Dims in MD supported Trone, so he might be able to split the Dims on that, but unlikely to do that.
