To locate Joe Biden’s electoral problem, you need only to look on Sunday morning. Polling shows the mass-attending Catholic president trails Donald Trump by 10 points among those who attend religious services a few times a year or more. The score is reversed with voters who report they seldom or never attend church, with Biden leading by 10.
It’s the starkest divide in the electorate – and one that political journalists rarely mention, perhaps because, as a profession, journalists are more removed from religion than the average American.
Trump’s advantage with white evangelical Protestants is widely understood, but he also leads Biden by healthy margins among less politically conservative Christians. These findings in the recent Marquette Law School’s national poll of registered voters showed Biden trailing Trump by 18 percentage points with other members of his own Catholic faith, and behind Trump by 16 among adherents of mainline protestant denominations, which would include groups like Methodists, Presbyterians, and Episcopalians.
Those numbers are in the same range as the 24-point lead Trump posts among self-described “born-again” evangelicals. The same poll shows the race is reversed with non-Christian voters, with whom Biden holds a commanding 33-point advantage.

Dems are the anti-God party. It is that simple.
Not one single Christian will vote Biden. Not one.
But the other part is that Biden will not leave us alone. Every where you go he has just got to stick his fingers into it. Where your kids go to school, what they learn, what you drive, what you eat, where you live, who is allowed in your bathroom. The man never stops.
And the secret here is that the anti-god types (not to be confused with agnostics) believe that man is perfectible if they can just load us up with enough rules.
People who are even slightly religious know people are not perfect and they can not be made that way. We can just do our best and as long as you are not doing active harm they are cool with you and your way. We just want the government to leave us be in our personal lives.

If these people were actual Christians, Biden would be behind by 100 points.
It’s impossible to be a democrat and a Christian. If foolish to vote democrat if you’re a Christian. You might as well just spike the scissors in the baby’s skull yourself.
No wonder the Dems are all worked into a tizzy about “Christian Nationalism”, whatever that’s supposed to mean.
Biden’s got problems everywhere, including his dementia.

No aware Christian will vote for Biden. But I know quite a few solid Christians (mainly Catholics) who are planning to pull the D lever this November.
They are older folks who think the Democrat party is still the party of JFK, and the party of the working class. They don’t see that today’s Democrats are the party of communism and abortion.
I’m trying to get them to understand this. So far I’ve made little progress. But it ain’t over until it’s over.

You are correct, I also remember the Dems booing the Boy scouts at a convention. How low can they go?
I play cards with a bunch of guys in their 70s who grew up with one of Tip O’Neill’s sons. They occasionally played poker with Tip, who was good at the game, and they seem to think that today’s Dems are loveable rogues with big hearts. They’ll find out otherwise when they have Venezuelan whores camping on their lawns.
