What "Christians" are we talking about here?
There are some == Oops! a LOT of people professing Christianity that I, as a genuine follower of the Living Jesus of the Bible, wouldn't get within a country mile of.
Such people are not being persecuted, they are being uncovered, publicly recognized, and finally punished for the very sins that the Holy Scriptures identifies and commands the truly righteous person to forbid and completely abstain from, the ones that send the determined unrepentant perpetrators of wrongs to Hell forever.
It is the depraved behavior of such false professors that give the main force of atheistic worldlings an excuse to bring their deadly wrath unjustly upon the few genuine children of God still remaining on earth.
