Overall all a very Good article.

It's unfortunate that he omits any mention of the Serbs and their struggle against islamic terror in Kosovo and other places.

As if only "western civilization" has something to loose in this Jihad.

Muhammad's Koran-inspired persecution of Christians, Jews and all non-Muslims continues...

"Actually, an event such as the one on September llth was not a random event. It simply marks a new step in the escalation of a war by the Islamic world to conquer the western countries."

"It is important for us Catholics to understand the implications of this war since, for various reasons, the actual political and religious stakes are being deliberately concealed by our leaders."

"Since we are inclined to want to believe that these leaders are sufficiently educated and cultured to know the true nature of Islam, we are obliged, unfortunately, to say that they are simply and boldly lying."

Some very important and accurate statements here,IMO,

Given where this priest is coming from, this is a very good article. It is unfortunate that he didn't mention the Orthodox Christians then and now on the front lines of the Islamic War. Most of Orthodoxy spent centuries under the heel of Mohammedanism, but the Faith and the vigor of the people allowed them to survive. Indeed in Egypt and throughout the Middle East and Turkey and Africa, Orthodox Christians still fight to survive the attacks of Islam. But what do we see from Europe? Aside from a few Eastern European countries and Britain, virtually nothing. And even in Britain the rot has set in so deeply that calling a spade a spade where Islam is concerned can get you thrown in jail. The Protestant and Roman Catholic faiths in Europe have compromised themselves from the very top with pandering to Islam. What a difference from the days of Popes calling for Crusades, from Charles Martel and an Eastern Roman Emperor dying in battle on the walls of Constantinople.

I do not agree with miltonium's view that Islam is a violent religion. I admire miltonium's loyalty to the Catholic Church. Citing the Koran to show that Islam is a religion of war can be misleading.

There are many passages in the Bible in which God commanded the Jews to become violent, but this does not prove that Christianity nor Judaism is a violent religion much less a religion of war. St. Joan of Arc was a warrior, yet she was canonized by the Catholic Church. Does it follow therefore that the Catholic Church is a religion of war because one of its saints was a warrior?

The very meaning of the word Islam is peace itself. Islam in Arabic has two meanings: that is, peace and submission to the will of God.

The Koran says that all the prophets of Israel as well as Jesus Christ and all of His apostles were all Muslims. Some say that this could not have happened because Islam appeared only five centuries after the birth of Christ. Therefore, Christ, much less the prophets, could not have been Muslims.

Christ, the Apostles and all the prophets of Israel were Muslims from the start because Islam means submission to the will of God. A Muslim is somebody who submits himself to the will of God. It is incongruous to think that the prophets, Christ and the Apostles did not submit themselves to the will of God during their times. Anybody who submits himself to the will of God is a Muslim. In fact, the Hadith of the prophet Mohammed says that it is not necessary for somebody to openly embrace Islam to become a Muslim. For as long as the person submits himself to the will of God, he is a Muslim, although he may be a practicing Catholic, Buddhist, Mormon, Protestant, Hindu or Shintoist.

It is written in Psalm 37:37(King James Version):

"Mark the perfect man and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace."

Peace only comes through obedience to God's laws which is brought about through submission to the will of God. The end result of submitting yourself to the will of God is the abundance of peace, as the Christian Bible says and the Koran affirms.

I am sorry that I cannot agree with miltonium's view although I admire him for being a loyal Catholic.
