Police in Taif caught a woman violating the law by being behind the steering wheel of a moving car, the Al-Jazirah newspaper reported yesterday.
The woman, an Arab foreigner married to a Saudi man, was immediately arrested. The husband was called to the police station to pick up his spouse.
The cops instructed the husband to make sure his wife does not repeat such a terrible crime as driving a car, which, according to the defenders of the law can lead to immoral behavior.

I've been driving female for over 50 yrs--(scary, isn't it!). So far, I haven't found any immoral behavior to indulge in while driving. Darn! I must be a slow learner.
BTW, I acknowledge that muzzie state-sponsored oppression of females is by far the more egregious offense.

The was an Iranian man who converted to Catholicism and attended our church. When he got married, all the male members of his family were allowed to attend. The females had to stay in Iran. I assumed this was because they might be tempted to stay here.
He, of course, could not return home to Iran for fear of his murder due to his conversion.
