Katie Couric: 'My God, I'm So Boring'
Katie Couric says the job of anchoring the "CBS Evening News is "a little harder than I thought it would be.
In an interview for the January issue of Esquire magazine, Couric also says she feels "in a bit of a box, and complains that "some people out there are rooting for me to fail.
Couric noted that Esquire itself criticized her after her September debut: "You guys even take a shot at me. You have something in the November issue, something about how since Ive become an anchor you dont know me anymore. You dont know me anymore? Bite me.
Couric who has fallen to the No. 3 spot in the night news game behind ABC and NBC also declared: "Oh my God, Im so boring.
"You dont know me anymore? Bite me.
Katie's search for a sign-off tagline is ended. We have a winner.
Demonstrating that people will listen to anything at 7 A.M. In the evening, they're awake.
"While I'm not overtly wishing that, it would not bother me were it to come to pass. ;)"
I am not hoping for it. Don't need to. It can't fail to happen on its own.
Who cares about this person anyway? She's not news...she's the news READER. Good Lord...they are breaking their necks to have her accepted. Some people know when to step down graciously and then there are others.........
Demonstrating that people will listen to anything at 7 A.M. In the evening, they're awake. Bingo! |
Cute!!That is my point exactly, she gives everyone the finger like most liberal sickie's...Everyone is to blame but them...
complains that "some people out there are rooting for me to fail.
That's funny...the MSM doesn't seem to think it's bad to root for the President to fail, or the Troops to fail, or the whole country for that matter but we're suppose to want Katie to do well on her new job. Nope...don't care, don't have to and by the way, "bite me" is real grown up Katie. Good luck in the future.
Katie's search for a sign-off tagline is ended.
Maybe she'll get more viewers if she stopped wearing panties on the set.
I had to say it. OK, now everyone flame me!
Such style! Such elegance! Such eloquence! </sarcsam>
I don't feel the least bit sorry for CBS and the moron who hired her in the first place.
They made their bed now they have to sleep in it so stop your crying.
There were alot of people who said it was a bad decision, but what the heck they are not a smart as the ones who hired her. Go figure!
