First you would have to get permission from the Border Patrol or whatever arm of government controls the property to mount something on the fence, otherwise I suspect they would come after you. You can’t just go around hanging things on federal property. But yes, Duncan Hunter AND Mr. Sensenbrenner deserve to be recognized for this accomplishment — Hunter for plugging away at it for more than a decade, and never giving up, and Mr. S. for having the legislative skills to do an end run around the open-border enviros and their fellow travelers in Congress.

I think it is an activism worth exploring once this whole election thing is resolved. If things like this fence can be held up like it has been to protect '
butterflies', then a thank you plaque of sorts has to have a procedure to be implemented.
