First you would have to get permission from the Border Patrol or whatever arm of government controls the property to mount something on the fence, otherwise I suspect they would come after you. You can’t just go around hanging things on federal property. But yes, Duncan Hunter AND Mr. Sensenbrenner deserve to be recognized for this accomplishment — Hunter for plugging away at it for more than a decade, and never giving up, and Mr. S. for having the legislative skills to do an end run around the open-border enviros and their fellow travelers in Congress.

I think it is an activism worth exploring once this whole election thing is resolved. If things like this fence can be held up like it has been to protect 'butterflies', then a thank you plaque of sorts has to have a procedure to be implemented.
