Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel issued the following statement following the U.S. Department of Justices denial of preclearance of Georgias voter verification process

And we the sheeple....BAAA and roll over, as usual.
_____________
Sickening isn’t it? Now you know why we bought a home outside the US. We refuse to live under a dictatorship.
I’m not thinking that we’ll go outside the US...
Oklahoma or Texas should do the trick.
Ga should tell the DOJ that in spite of its ruling , the State Of Ga will proceed anyway and that is that.
_______________
Absolutely!
Holder and company fear their past work to falsify votes in Georgia and elsewhere will be stopped. Holder is the criminal in chief at the ‘justice department. Perhaps we can now rename it The Department of Injustice with yet another affirmative action commie appointed by the affirmative action figure fraud-in-chief. THIS is the change democrats voted for ...
That’s probably what Obama’s minions want - get the Latina on the SC and then have her and the other statists rule that GA has no right to authenticate the validity of the citizens voting. That’s it’s discrimination or some such other nonsense.
But now this? Why vote in Georgia? Will My vote ever count in Georgia
Time for Georgians to tell the feds to get out of Georgia.
I NEVER thought I would say this.
Maybe we should think about moving to Oklahoma, now?
When is Texas going to catch up with OK?
I agree with you. Let the Obama Administration take the State of Georgia to SCOTUS. It is about time those nine justices made some decisions about citizenship.
Smell like ACORN?
Despite my screen name, I live in northeast Georgia. I am stupefied by this! Yes, our Sec. of State should tell them to mind their own business and then proceed to conduct honest elections. LET THEM them drag it to the Supreme Court! In fact, this is such a corruption of the voting process that Handel should consider resigning in protest and making a huge national stink about it. I know I could not do a job that entailed being FORCED to cheat, lie, and desecrate the Constitution. Multiply this problem by the “57” states, and we have huge problems.
Handel had this to say: DOJ has thrown open the door for activist organizations such as ACORN to register non-citizens to vote in Georgias elections, and the state has no ability to verify an applicants citizenship status or whether the individual even exists. DOJ completely disregarded Georgias obvious and direct interest in preventing non-citizens from voting, instead siding with the ACLU and MALDEF. Clearly, politics took priority over common sense and good public policy.
This process is critical to protecting the integrity of our elections. We have evidence that non-citizens have voted in past Georgia elections and that more than 2,100 individuals have attempted to register, yet still have questions regarding their citizenship. Further, the Inspector Generals office is investigating more than 30 cases of non-citizens casting ballots in Georgia elections, including the case of a Henry County non-citizen who registered to vote and cast ballots in 2004 and 2006.
Not only let them drag it into the Supreme Court,
but if the decision goes against Ga, ignore it.
To Paraphrase:
The DOJ has made it’s decision now let them enforce it!
You know, for the first time, I am seeing tens of thousands of people not rolling over. There are so many of us who are working hard to take back a little control. So far, we have worked to hold back amnesty, card check and a few others. We are pressuring our representatives on cap and trade as well as health care reform. It may not seem like much, but at least we are not all just “rolling over”. Many of the elected “employees” are getting worried about losing their job next year. I intend to keep them very worried if I can. It is too bad you are so negative. I keep hoping that with knowledge of history, maybe we have a shot at preventing a repeat.
South Carolina. 1860.
Georgia is a sovereign state. Screw the feds!
I agree with you. Georgia has just been screwed in the butt. The State should come out fighting, kicking and screaming and take the fight all the way to The Supreme Court.
Where the hell are the Reoublicans on this one? Are they are left with some spine?
