Without more Republicans in Congress, we were forced to increase spending on things we do not like or want in order to finally, after many years of depletion, take care of our Military. Sadly, we needed some Dem votes for passage. Must elect more Republicans in 2018 Election!

Must elect more. And replace a few of the worst offenders

Need to recycle the incumbents roughly every 10 years!
After 10 years they start becoming distinguishable from Rats!

There is just too much incentive for Congress to overspend. Article V is the only solution strong enough to solve this.

I am very disappointed. There should have been at least a 3% cut to every agency and department in the federal government with the exception of the military. Nothing is going to make this happen even if congress was 100% republican. F them all!

Well it’s as good as any explanation I’ve seen. This was horse trading.

The new definition of bipartisanship should be - I get the money I want and you get the money you want and our kids can pay for it.

Sad state of affairs and I simply do not see any political change in the future that will end this debt nightmare...........

It used to be beans or bullets. Now it is spending far more than we make and everyone is happy (except our kids in the future)

I’d like a lot more Republicans in Congress of the sort that voted against this deal.

The best we can expect is to tread water with GDP following the gross national debt.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Absolutely, the Bush League Republicans need to go before they give away the country.
Amnesty Senators First
Heller is the only on up in 2018 that isn’t quitting.
Corker, Hatch, and Flake are quitting.
The AZ GOP is setting up to elect McSally as Flake’s replacement as Amnesty Senator.
The Bush League Republicans are using Joe Arpaio’s ego to crowd out Kelli Ward, who is the reason Flake is quitting.
They want to sneak in McSally.
They want to maintain their TWO Amnesty Senators
Bishop Romney will probably take Hatch’s seat and that is a step backwards.
The only possibility for improvement is TN.
I think that we totally screwed the rats for the first time in my history. Trump offered DACA knowing that the democraps would turn it down thus creating political backlash from the extreme left to the rat leadership. He managed to get 2 years worth of funding vital to the military and our worldwide leadership. Much of the domestic spending will be paid for with the coming explosion in our economy. Look for 5% plus GDP growth that will flush the Feds with dough. Previous recoveries have been cut short because of our dependence on foreign oil. Rising energy cost have killed almost every expansion of our young Nation. This time guess what? Trump has lifted the harnesses of regulations so oil and gas exploration and delivery bodes mega wealth for American companies and it’s citizens. Never before has a President accomplished what the Donald has in a mere 13 months.
What we are doing now won’t get us damn more Republicans and might lose the House for us. Senate is already gone.
You want to know what types of Republicans I want more of? The kind who voted against this garbage.
That’s the spirit! Throw in the towel. The Senate is safe for republicans in 2018 because the vast majority of the seats up for election are held by rats. 10 seats currently held by democraps are in red States that went for Trump like Manchin in West Virginia. Although none of us know the future, the left has offered nothing to the American voters aside from transgender bathrooms. lol It’s extremely unlikely that the Senate will fall to the D’s. The best scenario for us is to replace some RINO snowflakes with some business leaders on par with the Donald.
LOL. I admire his enthusiasm, but President Trump really comes across as delusional here.
There isn't a chance in hell that the GOP in Congress had any intention of reducing spending on anything. They've demonstrated that repeatedly in the past.
Heck, Mr. Trump -- that's why you beat them all like rented mules in the GOP primaries.
Wouldn’t it be nice if the extra tax revenue from the tax cuts went to pay down the debt?
Yes, I am a dreamer.
