WASHINGTON Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent surgery on Friday to remove two nodules from her left lung, according to Kathleen Arberg, a Supreme Court spokeswoman. The nodules were discovered during tests following a fall in which Justice Ginsburg fractured her ribs.

Trump better make up a short list of moderate conservative judges... It would be an insult to replace her with a right wing judge, so he should just pick a judge who will follow the constitution and not his feelings.
Any judge who does not make it mandatory for all 4 year olds to be transexual will be considered a far right kook by the left

The House has no role in confirming Judges. It is up to the Senate and the Senate Judiciary Committee where the Republicans have a Majority and enough votes to confirm a trump appointment.
She wont retire as long as she can breath. She can be on life support and her Staff will render decisions in her name.

Yes, but she will hang on for as long as possible, until she draws her last breath. She had looked forward to having our First Woman President appoint her successor, but now has to face the prospect of her successor being chosen by Donald Trump. That thought alone will keep her going as long as possible. Not thru 2020, I believe.

Honestly, from what I’ve seen of friends and family who’ve had that diagnosis, I’d be surprised if she survives more than another month or two, if that long .. .and she IS 85 or 86, so less likely to bounce back or lengthen her time.
