New York has eliminated its quarantine travel advisory list, replacing it with a strict new blanket testing policy, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Saturday.
Under the new mandate, travelers from nearly every state in the union must show proof of a negative test taken within three days of arriving in New York, and must also quarantine for three additional days — and get a new COVID-19 on the fourth day.

How is he going to enforce it?
Will he erect road blocks at every highway, road and rural lane entering the states?
Will he put state police or NY national guard people at every motel and hotel to “check the papers” of everyone who stops in to rent a room?
For someone traveling through the state just stopping for the night, will he force them to spend 2 weeks in the motel where they stopped to be in quarantine?
And if so, will the state pickup the bill for the traveler’s room and board?
NYC tourism is tanking already. Can you imagine no one visiting NYC for fun?
The U.S. has a daily infection case rate of about 1 in 5,000.
So a NYS resident who interacts with two other NYS residents has the same chance of exposure as a NYS resident who interacts with one out of state resident.
And for that minimal difference, Cuomo wants to stop out of state residents unless they have papers showing that they've been tested??
That's insane. That's fascist.
That's one step away from NYS residents not being allowed out of their houses unless they have the right papers.

This is unenforceable. UNLESS one develops a Gestapo system.

In past years, it was considered not acceptable to set down proclamations on behavior in society... within reason, let them be... the within reason is becoming stretched.

I want to inform you, if we dont start demanding, coming down on stupidity.. clamping down on ideas or habits that go beyond the end of their nose..we are going to rue the day.
I saw aoc ..when she first came on the scene.. adult men ... all they did to her ideas were to smile and follow her around. She advocated some of the weirdest and most dangerous ideas I have ever heard and the push back was/is nill. You think that ain’t a camel’s nose trying to reside in that tent?!

You think you can raise kids by letting them do whatever they want?.. I saw girls on one news channel, taking clothes off the racks, putting them on and leaving,, daring anyone to stop them. When they got home, did they have a parent who sent them back to return..or do ya think they had one who saw nothing wrong and how pretty that haul was .
I will stop here.. I just have no patience for rude and stupid. I had 5 kids and yes, It might be easier to let them raise themselves.. but not in my house. Yes it is a 24 hr job and no vacations and not enough thanks.. but it pays back in dividends later if you stay the course and dont grow weary.
