My note: Now the ADA is trying to show the jury a contrite Cohen, setting out a date for a line in the sand when he crossed from being a serial liar to an altruistic truth teller. They have not rebuilt his credibility, but that may be too difficult so this strategy might have to do.
ADA now asking Cohen about where he was sentenced to serve his prison sentence.
Now asking about why Cohen was furloughed and why he was sent back to prison during his furlough.
Cohen sites Adam Pacula (sp?) who allegedly told him to come meet him at a place in lower Manhattan. Says he gave Cohen a document what was supposed to represent a Federal Monitoring Agreement.
ADA: When you were presented that agreement, did you question it?
Cohen: I did
ADA: Were you sent back to prison.
Cohen: Yes, in solitary confinement.
Aside: Michael Cohen is even dumber than I remember.
Soros funded DA’s office now asking convicted felon Michael Cohen about the cellphones that were seized by the FBI. Cohen says he might have powered on the phones after receiving them to see if they worked.
ADA: What did you do with the older phones?
Soros: One remained in the boxes that returned, the other was in a pouch with a bunch of cellphones that were taken. Those others belonged to my wife, my children.
My Aside: Remember, the prosecution is attempting to make the chain of custody of the cell phones important because they want to establish that Cohen did not alter the voice memo where President Trump was surreptitiously recorded by Cohen.
ADA now asking about Cohen testifying in the Leticia James, Judge Engoron Trump civil case where Engoron awarded the state of New York, >$450 Million of President Trump’s money. This case is in appeal.
My note: Interesting to see if the judge includes this as this seems like apples to oranges. Remember, we are in criminal court where the burden of proof is beyond a reasonable doubt while in civil court, the burden of proof is significantly lower.

Democrat Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan, who donated to Biden and another anti-Trump cause, must recuse under New York law (per a former Clinton federal judge in New York). Merchan’s adult daughter Loren Merchan, a top Democrat fundraiser and consultant, has raised millions of dollars off her father’s unprecedented trial of Trump.
Judge Merchan has threatened to jail Trump for mentioning this.
The prior Manhattan DA, the Manhattan U.S. Attorney, the Federal Election Commission, and even current Soros-funded Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg himself declined to bring charges against Trump based upon this bogus legal theory—which they will not even tell the criminal defendant four weeks into his trial. Then Matthew Colangelo, a senior Biden Justice Department political appointee and former DNC political consultant and Obama White House and Justice Department political appointee, got deployed to Bragg’s office to bring charges against a former and likely future President for the first time in American history.

Bragg, Colangelo, and Merchan rigged the jury-selection process. The Manhattan jury pool voted 87% for Biden. They asked potential jurors if they follow Trump on social media. But they didn’t ask if they follow Biden.

I heard that the biased Judge Merchan complained to the prosecution that Cohen was talking too much, needed to cool it.
