A Victorious Repeublican sitting in the California Governor's Chair will VETO the Spending Democrats in the California Legislature until they get it right for you and me.

Not necessarily. The leading Republican wants to spend more on "social" programs for kids, among other things. He's a big spender. He just wants to pay for his big spending by rebuilding the business climate and getting the money from a lot of people instead of the Davis-Bustamante approach of piling killer taxes on fewer people. It's pretty much the same approach that Dubya takes. It's a bit better than the Democrat approach. But in the end, it's still Big Government.

Ah-nold also says he's for "sensible gun control" and promises to "close the gun-show loophole."

He says that on education, he opposes vouchers, preferring to "work within the current system."

And he says "stop the oil drilling."

Not our kind of guy.
