    Sorry for the vanity, but I wanted to see if anyone knows of any election night "chat rooms" where folks might congregate to discuss and hopefully pop champagne corks as we watch the election numbers roll in. I'm sure Free Republic will be more than hammered with folks checking in on results and possibly a chat room of some sort might serve to lessen the load a little. 8 years ago, I sat in on a chat on an IRC Server (Dalnet) in a room of Democrats.     A second woman posing as a "Republican who supports Obama" in a new campaign advertisement was identified Saturday as Delia Ciano, the mother of Maria Ciano, a registered Democrat who also appears in the ad, posing as a Republican, John Hinderaker reported at Powerline. "Her Facebook page, like her daughter’s, is revealing. She put up a link to the Obama video and writes, 'Maria and I are part of this video. I hope you watch,'” he wrote before posting a screen shot of her personal Facebook page.

    Sorry for the vanity, but I wanted to throw this out there in case it hadn't been observed/discussed before. If it has, my apologies. I noticed this morning on my laptop that Free Republic was loading BLAZINGLY fast. The main listing of articles appeared almost instantly as well as any article selected appeared instantly. I thought, WOW! They've really done some work to get the site to run this fast! Later on my desktop, I saw that the site was the speed I was accustomed to (sorry, not complaining!!) but it was quite a bit slower to list and view...
