Suppose a foreign country, whichever, mexico, china, Russia, Etc, sent an army to March into San Francisco and then annexed it into their country.
Rhe citizens of San Francisco would now pay taxes to that country and would would follow thier laws.
Would you fight or have your son fight to liberate the city although it's values are very different from your own? Would you view them as fellow Americans that deserve Liberation just the same?
Or would you gave the opinion that is not worth fighting for?
I would ask Russia to keep coming to Michigan.
Not sure about other powers.
Maybe let China have them but not come any further.
Wow! This is a resounding no.
Maybe I should have asked if any blue cities are worth fighting for.
If I would not enlist to fight under JOe Biden and his treasonous general staff in the military, do you think for a moment I would fight to liberate Pelosi’s totalitarian city, Siscanfranso?
YOU ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION.
Yes, I would fight to recover San Francisco if a foreign army invaded:
1. Armed aggression against the United States must be opposed wherever and whenever it occurs.
2. Regardless of what feelings we have about the current residents of San Francisco, the physical territory and transportation infrastructure is a national asset not to be left in the hands of an enemy to exploit in future military operations.
3. Military operations are violent and usually produce many casualties. In addition, armed conflict can justify the imposition of martial law, suspension of civil government and courts, and the imposition of harsh measures to control crime and improve health and sanitation.
4. War allows those citizens and residents who are disloyal to the country to emerge openly as traitors and collaborators thereby permitting their arrest, trial by courts martial, and ultimate execution.
Given the current state of the city, invasion and recapture sounds like it would yield a net positive result.
Not sure we’d have to. From what I read about the condition of SF, these days, they’d probably retreat in disgust.
This country is already being invaded, no one is fighting the invaders, our government is allowing this country to be overrun. So I guess this country, as it stands, is not worth fighting for.
The latter.
If a foreign country invaded a red state, San Francisco would help the invader.
With respect, the formulation of the question is incorrect.
An army invades a country. Perhaps a city first, but nonetheless a country.
Freepers respond in different ways, and the humor is always welcome, says I.
But the formulation of the question is a "category mistake."

Best wishes.
“Liberate the foreign army, yes.................”
Oh, they’d get ‘liberated’ all right.
“We’re here! We’re now queer!...”
That was my comment!
What’s with the “if” crap? Done did happened.
We should respond with bone-crushing bombing and a relentless and vicious defense of our nation such that the offspring of the invaders would convulse at the mention of USA for generations.
Ya doubt hear much about the neutron bomb anymore. It was designed for nuke warfare in Europe. The bomb irradiates people but leaves buildings intact. I’d be in favor of using the neutron bomb on SF. After all, CA is part of America and might be useful to us as a red state.
I say nuke it, sterilize the place and start over in a few years.
Do they promise to stop at, say, Walnut Creek?
Bring it, Chicoms!
Its already happened.
No.
I’d give them the entire city, then nuke it from space to be sure.
I’d be in favor of fighting, but fighting *smart*... nuke it from space, with wide margins.
In 2022 alone 2.74 Million illegals invaded our southern border. They are living here now. How many more are unaccounted for because they weren’t seen?
And we basically shut our eyes and ignore it. Do we even talk about it outside of FR? Yet somehow we would fight if this scenario happened.
Went to the chiropractor last week. 2/3 of the people in the waiting room were talking Spanish.
I’ve lost three family members to fentanyl. Anything being done to stop it coming across the border? The complacency in our nation is unbelievable.
Our leaders want them here....both parties.
