Sorry, heroes - too much space required for Obama and his minions, all basking in glory borrowed from... well... you.
Bush is scheduled to attend. He should simply tell NYC political hacks that either these heroes get to attend or he will not attend.
Am still haunted buy the images of those brave fire fighters rushing into the towers as everyone else was running away from them.
If GWB boycotted the 9-11 observance to show solidarity with the first responders, it would be a HUGE rebuke. It would be like Dubya had remained silent all this time to save his moral capital for one significant stroke.
Anyway, count on Obama not to publically demand that hotels make space for these heroes on that day. It’d make him look even heroic but he’s wired differently, that’s abundantly clear by now.
dittos!
Bush may just decide to go to them. We will understand.
This story brings to mind what firefighter Michael Moran, younger brother of the Freeper "BCM" (Battalion Chief Moran) killed on 9/11, directed to Osama on Oct. 20, 2001, at the Concert for NYC: "kiss my royal Irish ass."
The liberal cesspool of New York City continues to be filled with ungrateful wretches.
