Dear Freepers, I haven't been posting here for a few years although I've been on this site for about a decade. My Mom, Antoinette or "Toni" passed away yesterday from pneumonia. She had stage 4 COPD. Please pray for my family and I. She was the BEST Mom anyone could have. She cared for many people in her life as well as her family. Thank you for your prayers and consideration. God Bless.

Sorry for your loss. My mom passed away 20 years ago last Monday (April 1). Seems like only yesterday. You become like a kid again.

I am so sorry. Saying au revoir to one’s Mom is so tough. I lost mine a little over 2 years ago (97). She had a good run, and it sounds like yours did too.
I pray that your family comes together in special ways around this season of remembrance.

Amberdawn it is a tough disease to be a caregiver for. I share your loss as I too am losing my sweetheart to COPD and Parkinsons. But know that your Mom is now in a better place and that our prayers for you and the family will be heard.

Amberdawn, I am very sorry to hear this. Prayers for you and all your family. I just got through the first year without my mom. Rough but I try to keep focused on the fun and joy memories :) God is with you and your family always. He will help you now and everyday.
