If you were a military general who loved their country and served with honor and integrity, would you further risk the security of the United States by resigning when it is likely your replacement would not share the love of country you hold so dear?

If they have such a great love of country why wouldn’t their replacement? Or why wouldn’t their replacement refuse as well? To allow something so ‘imbecilic’ over your own name is to abandon your men in the first place. To resign would be to refuse to participate in the betrayal. It may also signal to the Idiot that he’ll have a hard time persuading others to go along. Imagine being the next in line, seeing the resignation and having responsibility for the impending cluster feck dropped into YOUR lap. Lead by example.13 dead. Abandoned. Betrayed: You don’t save America this way.
