Trump’s brilliant use of American economic dominance now precludes the need for multiple permanent American military bases around the world to pre-empt bad actors. But also his willingness to project power against bad actors with a attitude of “if you harbor our enemies we will arrive on your doorstep, kick ass, don’t bother taking names and leave you in shambles with no occupation or nation building.
