I remember watching the news coverage of the plane hitting the second tower. The camera cut to a rooftop somewhere across the river with a group of people in Arabic dress. When the plane hit they started jumping up and down and cheering. I never saw that footage again, it just disappeared completely.
IIRC, that happened both in Paterson & Jersey City. One of the Muslim doctors at our family clinic said “good” when told the news. He was later forced out of the clinic, but we switched to another anyway.
