TSA did not exist at that time. Nor were there restrictions on things like box cutters.
Not that I agree with all of the present day TSA policies and procedures. But, we’ve not had anymore jetliners fly into skyscrapers.
And you think that’s because they don’t allow box cutters and water bottles?
